Party Time!

So I know I haven't written here in a while and that's because I wanted pictures to go along with my blog post.

The first thing I have to catch you up on was the bathroom project. That's right! We redid his bathroom, beach themed! And had a little fun...

Wish I could post pictures of the bathroom after it was done but... I didn't get any :/ It took us two days and over $200 to get it finished! The cool thing about the whole thing was that Donnie let me choose the theme and basically let me do whatever I wanted to it. Of course, I had him decide a few things himself, and surprisingly enough, he has great taste in décor!

The next thing we were up to was Tristan's 4th birthday party! We started out by picking him up then driving to Walmart where Donnie bought him his gifts, Little Tristan got to pick out a couple himself. Then we went home, where we had cake...

 

And what's a little cake without a little food fight!..don't worry, we made up after ;)

 

 

 

Then we did presents and everyone left. Tristan wanted every single one of his gifts open, typical 4 year old :) He'd play with one toy for two minutes and move on to the next! Bet all my parent readers out there know exactly what I'm talking about! :D

 

 

 

 

We had a bounce house, pizza, and music. The adults played horse shoes and the kids played on the bounce house. My two future nieces talked me into playing "school" with them and sketch a couple pictures, as well as read a couple chapters from a book. Basically all the kids (12-17 kiddos) pulled me ever which way to play with them. I spent most of the day with the kids and didn't get much time with my Honey. *sadness*

Donnie and I cleaned up while the kids got ready for bed. We had, and took, the opportunity to lay down for a few minutes before it was time to leave. Busy, long, but fun day it turned out to be!

And even though this part of the blog has nothing to do with my journey to love, I thought I'd still share my day with you.

Today I went to the park with my siblings. It's actually a big deal, considering I probably only have one more day (Sunday) to see them before they leave on their one-year trip around the U.S.
